Our café in South Manchester has been open since 2011. The cafe is still focused around the same large table we've had since day one. We love the idea that our neighbours can come to meet, talk and eat and new friendships might be made over a decent cup of coffee.

Simple, seasonal food
Our Food: We make everything on our menu from scratch ourselves, from our bread to our chutneys and smoked fish! (with the exception of our meat products, which we source from littlewoods)
We source only the best local ingredients, Organic where possible.
Our Specials Roll: Each week, our chefs create a new seasonal special, using the best of the seasons harvest. Alongside our special dish, we also have a changing rice bowl, fish dish, soup and selection of seasonal jams and preserves.
Our Coffee: London roasters Allpress Espresso supply our coffee beans and our baristas take pride in providing you with a truly great coffee, whether you're sitting in or taking away. Currently using ‘a good brew’ blend.
Our Bread + Pastries: Our sourdough and pastries are delivered fresh each morning from our bakery unit which is around the corner in Heaton Chapel. We make our sourdough bread from scratch using Organic flour and all our loaves are naturally leavened.
On Our Shelves: We stock a range of house made produce such as seasonal jams and preserves, granola, tote bags, gift cards and a few bits and bobs from some fantastic local makers!
